Project examples
Students can complete a substantial consulting project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.
Students in Colorado State University Global's respective Interdisciplinary Professional Studies, Management, and Project Management program can complete projects for a range of areas. Project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
- New market entry
- New product offerings
- Sale of the company
- Streamlining operations or channels
- Changing organizational structure
- Business & Data Analytics
- Account & Market Planning
- Financial & Investment Analytics
- New business plan and government funding opportunities
- Competitor analysis
- Operational and Logistical research and efficiency
- Implementation or evaluation of a software or system
- Business process change
- A marketing and branding initiative
- Research & Statistics
- Policy Research, Analysis & Development
- Management, Strategy, HR, & Economic Consulting
